1. About these Terms
These Terms apply to the Crownbridge public website and to any Crownbridge digital service that expressly incorporates them. By using the public website, you agree to use it lawfully and in accordance with these Terms.
Access to a private Crownbridge system may also be subject to additional internal authority, employment, contractor, confidentiality, security or service-specific rules. If those controls are stricter than these public Terms, the stricter control applies to that private system.
2. Public website
The public website provides general information about Crownbridge, its operating model and selected digital services. Crownbridge may update, correct, expand or remove website content as the group, its entities and systems evolve.
Unless Crownbridge expressly states otherwise in a separately governed engagement or document, website content is general information only and is not investment, legal, tax, accounting, financial or other regulated professional advice.
3. Crownbridge Command Centre
The Crownbridge Command Centre is a private operating environment. A public description of the Command Centre, a visible sign-in button or possession of a URL does not grant authority to enter or use the system.
Access may depend on approved identity, account, device, role, mandate, assurance level or other Crownbridge governance controls. Users must not attempt to bypass, disable or circumvent authentication, device trust, role restrictions, approval gates, audit controls or other technical or organisational safeguards.
4. Authorised accounts and devices
If you are given access to a Crownbridge private system, you are responsible for using only the identity, account and device that Crownbridge has authorised for that purpose. Credentials and access rights must not be shared unless Crownbridge has expressly approved that arrangement.
You must promptly report suspected unauthorised access, lost or compromised credentials, or any security issue that could affect Crownbridge systems or information.
5. Google account connections
Where an authorised user chooses to connect a Google account, the user must connect only an account they are authorised to use for the stated Crownbridge business purpose. Google authentication and consent are handled through Google’s own services.
The CRBG Command Centre Gateway currently requests https://www.googleapis.com/auth/gmail.readonly. This is read-only Gmail access. The current Gateway does not have authority through that scope to send, draft, forward, delete, trash or modify Gmail messages.
Use of Google-connected functionality is also subject to applicable Google terms and policies. Crownbridge may refuse, suspend or remove a connection if its ownership, authority, security or permitted purpose cannot be established.
6. Acceptable use
You must not use the website or any Crownbridge system to:
- break applicable law or infringe another person’s rights;
- gain or attempt to gain unauthorised access to systems, records, accounts or communications;
- interfere with security, availability, monitoring or audit controls;
- introduce malicious code, automated abuse, credential attacks or other harmful activity;
- misrepresent your identity, authority or relationship with Crownbridge; or
- use information obtained through Crownbridge for a purpose that is not authorised.
7. Intellectual property
Unless otherwise stated, Crownbridge-owned website content, branding, interfaces, software, system architecture, documentation and original materials are owned by Crownbridge or the relevant rights holder. These Terms do not transfer ownership or grant a licence beyond ordinary website use and any private-system access Crownbridge has expressly authorised.
Third-party names, marks, software and services remain the property of their respective owners.
8. Third-party services
The website and Command Centre may interoperate with third-party providers. Those services remain subject to their own terms, privacy policies, technical limits, availability and security controls. Crownbridge is not responsible for a third party changing or discontinuing its service.
9. Availability and changes
Crownbridge may maintain, change, restrict, suspend or discontinue website or system functionality. Planned or emergency maintenance may temporarily affect availability. Nothing in these Terms guarantees uninterrupted, error-free or permanently available access.
10. Suspension and termination
Crownbridge may suspend or revoke access where this is necessary to protect systems, information, users, legal obligations, business operations or governance requirements. Private-system authority may also end when a role, mandate, business relationship or approved purpose ends.
11. Reliance and liability
You are responsible for decisions you make based on general public-site information and for ensuring that any private-system use remains within your authority. Crownbridge does not warrant that public website content is suitable for a particular commercial, investment, legal, tax or regulated purpose.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Crownbridge is not responsible for loss arising solely from unauthorised use, misuse, circumvention of controls, third-party service failure, or reliance on general website information as professional advice. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
12. Privacy
Personal information is handled in accordance with the Crownbridge Privacy Policy. Google-connected use is subject to the additional disclosures in that policy.
13. Changes to these Terms
Crownbridge may update these Terms when the public website, legal structure or authorised digital capabilities materially change. The “Last updated” date identifies the current published version.
